Deus ex Morbus takes place in a world that was devastated by the Disease whose original purpose as a bio-weapon was to cripple the infrastructure of the United States.  However, alterations were made to the genetic code that allowed those that unleashed the Disease to wreck havoc on the entire world and turned most of the planet’s population into mindless cannibalistic monsters whose only purpose is to propagate the Disease.

The Diseased (Book 1 – Published)

When a ragtag group of survivors follows a radio broadcast promising safety at Fort Knox, they discover the signal is a Soviet trap designed to feed Americans into labor camps — and that the Disease ravaging the world was an engineered bio-weapon sold by the same Russians luring them to a trap.

The Retribution (Book 2 – Serialized)

Six months after barely escaping the fall of Fort Knox, a fractured group of survivors finds themselves trapped inside Olympia — a Roman-styled colony built on a corrupted version of the very Disease that destroyed the world — while the engineered bioweapon’s most dangerous disciple closes in from outside the walls. With a possible vaccine that could end the Disease locked inside a hard drive and a gladiatorial death clock counting down, the group must fight their way out of Olympia. Caught between a fanatical leader who may be their only ally and a death cult that wants to end them, survival will require trusting the last people on earth they should.
